A coordination meeting held with officials of Asia development bank about future plan and implementation of water management projects.
Mr. Khan Mohammad Takel the general director nation water affairs regulation authority, in an online meeting, whereas Engineer Sayed Moghim Sadat, Head of the central office of program management also participated, they discussed with Asia development bank officials about water management development projects in a country and development program of this bank from 2021 up to 2024.
The meeting, which was attended by various departments ( National Water affairs regulation authority, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Transport, Railway….), they have generally discussed about ADB working plans from 2021 up to 2024.
The leadership of national water affairs regulation authority wanted from officials of Asian development bank to cooperate them in strengthening of the under groundwater resources, Panjshir-Kabul water supply pipeline and the implementation of a number of other projects.
The request has accepted and assured by officials of Asian development bank in this sections.
One of the important issues at this meeting was that the ADB and the ministry of finance said that “any deportments that has done its job well and on time will be given the budget for future cooperation.”
Fortunately, the leadership of the national water affairs regulation authority was able to play a good rule in implementation of previous projects and to implement the projects with good quality in due time.
It is striking that Asia development bank has cooperated about 700$
Million to the national water affairs regulation authority and has continued to ensure for future cooperation.
