The National Water Affairs Regulation Authority intend to award the contract Rehabilitation and Construction of Subprojects (Sharawan Takhar and Momen Abad Canals), IFB No. NPA/NWARA/ P-ARBP/NCB/W- 6924/99 to the first responsive-lowest bid (M/s Biltek Afghan Construction Co) at the contract amount of USD 2,849,463.10 (Two Million Eight Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-Three-Point Ten US Dollars) inclusive of 10% Contingency over item number II (civil work) amounting to USD 209,229.37and provisional sum amounting to USD 65,700.00
The ground for protest is open, starting from date of announcement of this intention for award and will close within 7 days. Protest shall not be accepted beyond the deadline. Protest must be addressed in writing to the National Water Affairs Regulation Authority located at Darulaman Road, in front of Sanatorium street, Kabul Afghanistan.
This notification does not constitute award of contract. The contract shall not be awarded until the notice provided elapsed and complaints, if any received, is addressed in compliance with appeal and review manual.
