90 percent of the construction of Sardasht Canal in Takhar province has been completed
 Maulana Sibghatullah Qani, head of Taluqan sub river basin, along with some officials of the mentioned department and the technical team of the SFI office, monitored the progress of Sardasht canal in sardasht district of Takhar province.
 The work of this project is being carried out with the financial support of (WFP) worth twenty nine million, one hundred and ninety five thousand, six hundred and thirty four Afghanis (29195634) under the supervision of Taluqan sub river basin and the works are 90 percent completed. 
 In this project, employment has been provided for hundreds of people, and upon the completion of the work, the problem of drinking water and agricultural water for hundreds of families will be solved.
