A high ranking delegation, including the CEO of Afghanistan’s National Power Utility (DABS) Mr. Muhammad Hanif Hamza, headed by the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water, Mr. Alhaj Mulla Abdul Latif Mansoor, went on a trip to Turkey. 

There, they will discuss the extension of the imported electricity agreement for 2023 with the electricity officials of Tajikistan and will also participate in a number of meetings for the development of electricity production in Afghanistan.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water visited Uzbekistan leading a delegation, and extended the imported electricity contract for the year 2023 with the officials of the country's electricity company.
