Honorable Alhaj Muhammad Haris Zurmatai, who previously served as an economic advisor to the Ministry of Energy and Water, has now been appointed as the new head of procurement based on the leadership of the ministry’s seeing of need, and has been introduced to his colleagues.
At the time of the introduction of the new head of procurement, the Director General of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Energy and Water, Alhaj Muhammaduddin Niazi, considered the change in administrations as a principle and viewed the purpose of this act as the pursuit of excellence in performance and good management. It is worth noting that Mr. Zurmatai, in addition to receiving religious education, holds a bachelor's degree from Kabul University's Faculty of Economics and has also obtained a professional accounting diploma from London's Oxford University through online education.
