In Laghman province, four projects worth about fourteen million Afghanis have been put to use
In the Alingar district of Laghman province
four projects worth about fourteen million afghanis were put to use in the presence of the Governor of Laghman Honorable Qari Zain ul Abidin Abid, the Head of Laghman sub river basin Honorable Mawlawi Sherjan Rashidi, officials of the World Food Organization and a number of ethnic elders.
These projects included the construction of Sukhara Kokhi canals, Sarkha Kokhi, Kundila Naliar and Adhar Kajgara protective walls and Shahi Village Super Passage.
The works of these projects were completed and put to use within 9 months, and with their use, the water problems of hundreds of families were solved and thousands of acres of agricultural land were protected from the risk of floods.
These projects were implemented with the financial support of the World Food Organization under the supervision of the Laghman sub river basin, where hundreds of people were provided with employment opportunities.
