The works of four projects worth 300 thousand dollars have started in Maidan Wardag province

 Four projects worth 300,000 US dollars in Sayed Abad district of Maidan Wardag province began in the presence of the governor of the mentioned province, Maulawi Mohammad Amin Jan Omari, the head of maidan khar river basin, Mr. Mufti Abdul Samad Halim, the district governor of Sayed Abad and a number of others ethnic elders.
 At the opening meeting of these projects, Mr. Omari said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan will pay more attention to those districts that have been deprived of basic services in the past years.
 In the same way, the head of Maidan khar river basin assured the people in the opening meeting of these projects that their basic problems in the field of water management will be given serious attention and he asked the contractor company to carry out the construction works of the projects in high quality.
 These projects are being carried out under the supervision of Maidan Khar river basin with the financial support of FAO and will be completed within six months, with the completion of these projects thousands of acres of agricultural land will be protected from the threat of floods.
