The construction project of Aliabad General Canal in Jawzjan Province has been handed over to use at a cost of more than 8 million Afghanis.

 The construction project of Aliabad General Canal in Faizabad District of Jawzjan Province at the worth of eight million, two hundred and fifty nine thousand, nine hundred and sixty one (8259961) Afghanis,

in the presence of Mr. Mullah Saaduddin Halimi, Director of Jawzjan Sub River Basin, The President Of Swedish Committee in The North Zone and some other local officials, it was put to use.

The aforementioned canal was built to increase the yield of farmers and prevent water wastage, which has the capacity to irrigate 800 hectares of agricultural land.

This project, which was implemented under the supervision of Jawzjan sub River basin with the financial support of the Swedish Committee in the North Zone, provided work for many people in a period of four months.
