The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water met with the governor of Nuristan province and a number of leaders of that province.

The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water Honorable Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor met with the governor of Nuristan province, Mr. Mohammad Agha Hakim, the head of Nuristan Sub river basin, Mr. Mohammad Ali Faroqi and some leaders of that province, He discussed about water and energy projects in the province.

In this meeting, the governor and leaders of Nuristan province mentioned the needs of the people about the energy and electricity development projects and requested the attention of the leadership of the Ministry of Energy and Water.

 Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water assured them that in order to implement the rest of the projects in Nuristan Province and restart their work, he will appoint a technical team to closely examine the projects.

Also, Mr. Mansoor, expressing his promise of cooperation to the governor and leaders of Nuristan in this meeting, mentioned that the electricity project in the center of this province has also been included in the plan of the ministry for the upcoming year and in the future It’s works will be started.
