The tender documents do not provide soil investigation data for the transmission line route or tower foundations, as these investigations are part of the Design-Build Contractor’s scope of work. The successful Contractor will be responsible for carrying out detailed geotechnical surveys, including soil resistivity tests, tower foundation investigations, and substation geotechnical studies, in accordance with IEC and international best practices. The Employer will facilitate pre-bid site visits for interested bidders to the proposed transmission line corridor and substation locations. The purpose of the site visit is to provide bidders with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the general conditions, accessibility, and terrain. |

The land acquisition process and associated costs for HV substations and transmission line routes will be the responsibility of the Client. Yes, the ToR indicates that each 220 kV substation shall have one additional connection point reserved for future interconnection on the busbar.
