The meeting was held for the purpose of re-launching the Nahr al-Sarraj project of Helmand province, the leaders of Helmand province requested to restart the project.

Mr. Mujibur Rahman Umar Akhundzada, Deputy Minister of Water of the Ministry of Energy and Water, promised to cooperate with the leaders of Helmand province in addition to the cooperation in the Nahr al-Siraj project and in the implementation of other projects in Helmand province.

Also, Honorable Deputy Minister Of Water mentioned that after reviewing the contract of Nahr al Siraj project, the practical work will be started again.
