In Dasht Qila district of Takhar Province, cleaning of Guzar Canal was done with the financial support of Aga Khan Office under the supervision of Panj sub river basin of Lower Dasht Qila.
The mentioned canal has the capacity to irrigate more than 7000 acres of agricultural land, and more than 3800 people were provided with employment in the cleaning works.
