Notification for intention to contract award
The Ministry of energy and water of Afghanistan (MEW) is supposed to award the contract: Rehabilitation of Lower Kokcha Irrigation-Zone II,-Archi Kohna Canal (AKC), LKIP/AKC 20+450 to 39+000 Km Canal Civil Works, Package 5, under the contract No: NPA/MEW/97/W-2272/ICB, with M/S Irrigation System Development ISD JV (Excellent Planning Construction Company & Chaudhary Engineers Associates JV), having license in order No. D-22256 and No. 90, located in order, Taimani Project, First Road, District #4 Kabul, Afghanistan and 573-Q,M.A JOHAR, TOWN, LAHORE Pakistan; in the amount of USD 3,993,846.96 (Three Million Nine Hundred Ninety Three Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Six Dollars & Ninety Six Cents) inclusive of 10% Contingency amounting to USD 311,700.64 and provisional sum amounting to USD 75,000.00.
Bidders who appeal reconsideration or have any objection, they can submit their application within 7 days to the Ministry of Energy and Water from the date of announcement.
This notification does not constitute award of contract. The contract shall not be awarded until the notice provided elapsed and complaints, if any received, is addressed in compliance with appeal and review manual.
