In Parwan Province, Gulbahar Canal's general damming project has been started at a cost of more than 6 million Afghanis

 In Jabal Al Saraj District of Parwan Province, the maintenance and monitoring project of Gulbahar Canal's general embankment has started at a cost of six million, one hundred and thirty nine thousand and eight hundred and four point five (6139804.5) Afghanis.

This project has provided employment for hundreds of people and it has been decided that the work will be completed within a month.

This project is being implemented by Alam Haseeb Construction Company under the supervision of Ghorband Charikar sub river basin.

Nevertheless, the officials of Ghorband-Charikar  sub river basin conducted a survey of Shiwa Valley’s Watershed in Shinwari district of Parwan province for the purpose of building check dams and storing of rain and surface water.

It’s worth mentioning that with the implementation of these projects, 176 hectares of agricultural land will be irrigated and employment will be provided to hundreds of people.
