The Acting Minister of Energy and Water, H.E. AlHaj Mulla Abdul Latif Mansoor, met with a delegation of Turkish businessmen from the Turkish Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics Association (IGIAD) to discuss investment in water and energy projects. During the meeting, the Acting Minister assured the delegation that Afghanistan has ample capacity for energy production from various sources and that the investment environment in Afghanistan is currently favorable in all respects. H.E. Mansoor emphasized that the ministry welcomes investment in the water and energy sectors and will cooperate fully with investors. A member of the Turkish delegation mentioned that their purpose for visiting Afghanistan is to expand trade relations with the country and expressed their interest in investing in the water and energy sectors.
