The Acting Minister of Energy and Water visited the Sayad area

The Acting Minister of Energy and Water, H.E. Alhaj Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, along with several technical officials from the Ministry, visited the Sayad area. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate water sources for providing drinking water to Kabul city, and the Sayad area was identified as having the appropriate capacity for this purpose.
Initial studies of the area were conducted by Japan's JICA organization in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Water and Further studies are planned for the future. 
After completing the technical studies, and with the preparation of the budget and necessary facilities, steps will be taken to transfer water from this area to Kabul city in the future.
