The Acting Minister of Energy and Water met with the Ambassador of Afghanistan in Tashkent.

The Acting Minister of Energy and Water, Mr. Alhaj Mulla Abdul Latif Mansoor, who led a delegation, visited Uzbekistan to resolve the problems of importing electricity from that country to Afghanistan and to extend the electricity contract.  In Tashkent, he met with the Ambassador of Afghanistan, Dr. Ahmad Khalid Al-Alami and the Consul General, Mr. Mohammad Idris Zarshvi.

In this meeting, both parties discussed the development of relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the problems of Afghans living in Uzbekistan and ways to solve them.
