The construction project of an irrigation canal, a retaining wall and a bridge in the village of Najo Taskenda, belonging to the city of Aibak, Samangan Province, worth six million five hundred and twenty one thousand six hundred and fifteen (6521615) Afghanis, was put into operation, in the presence of Mulla Mohammad Omar Anas Head of Khulam Aibek Sub river Basin, the officials of Actid office and Ethnic elders.
The mentioned project includes the construction of an irrigation canal with a length of 240 meters, a width of 0.8 meters and a depth of 1 meter; The construction of a 170-meter-long retaining wall and the construction of a 21-meter-long and 1.9-meter-wide bridge, which provided work for a large number of compatriots.
The mentioned project was implemented for the purpose of irrigating 600 acres of agricultural land, solving the transportation problems of the local people and preventing the dangers of floods.
It’s worth mentioning that the mentioned project was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway on behalf of the Actid office.
