A coordination meeting was held to prepare a plan to prevent water use by water pumps. 
The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Acting Minister of Energy and Water, H.E Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor; Acting Minister of Higher Education, Honorable Sheikh Nida Mohammad Nadeem; Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, Honorable Mawlawi Attaullah Omari; Deputy Minister of Water of Energy and Water Ministry, Honorable Mujib ur Rahman Umar Akhundzada; and Deputy Minister for the Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice Ministry, Honorable Sheikh Faqirullah.
The purpose of the meeting was to implement Resolution No. 22 of the year 1444 of the Cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. During the meeting, participants discussed and exchanged ideas, sharing necessary information about the unauthorized use of water from rivers, streams, and irrigation canals by water pumps and proposed solutions to prevent it.
After a comprehensive evaluation of the issue and the sharing of information on the importance of preventing water pump usage, and considering the damages and disadvantages to downstream rights holders, a plan was prepared and necessary decisions were made to implement the required measures.
