The Deputy Minister of Water of the Ministry of Energy and Water met with the representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations
 Mr. Mujib ur Rahman Umar Akhundzada, Deputy Minister of Water of the Ministry of Energy and Water met with the representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Mr. Richard "Trinchard" in his office.
 In this meeting, there was a full discussion and exchange of ideas about the implementation of water management projects, coordination and joint cooperation and other bilateral cooperation in the field of irrigation and water supply in the country.
 In this meeting, Mr. Deputy Minister emphasized on the creation of more coordination and the development of cooperation and suggested that in order to integrate affairs and better implement bilateral cooperation, it is necessary that  cooperation agreement should be signed between the two sides.
 At the same time, the United Nations Food and Agriculture (FAO) representative in Afghanistan expressed his interest in joint cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Water and said that this organization is also interested in strengthening working relations and developing the cooperation with this Ministry. 
 In the end, both sides emphasized on providing preparatory work for the purpose of establishing more coordination and implementing bilateral cooperation for the management of water resources.
