A joint cooperation agreement was signed with 77 Turkish Construction Company to invest in the 200 MW wind power generation project
The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water Mulla Abdul Latif Mansoor signed a cooperation agreement with the Head of 77 Turkish Construction Company Mr. Suleyman Ciliv for the purpose of investing in a 200 MW wind power generation project in Herat province.
At the signing ceremony of the agreement, Mr. Mujib ur Rahman Omar Akhundzada, Deputy Minister of Water of the Ministry of Energy and Water, Mr. Burak Unsal, Vice President of 77 Turkish Construction Company, Mr. Emrah Manav, Deputy Ambassador of the Turkish Embassy, Mr. Emrah Unal, the Trade Officer of the Turkish Embassy and the advisors and Directors of the Ministry of Energy and Water were also present.
During the signing of the agreement, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water praised the previous cooperation of 77 Turkish Construction Company with this Ministry, especially the solar power project of Kandahar Province and the implementation of the second phase project of Kajki Dam by this company and also called the agreement valuable for the people of Afghanistan in development of energy production sector in the country.
At the same time, the head of 77 Turkish Construction Company, while thanking the leadership of the Ministry of Energy and Water, promised to expand its investments in water and energy projects in Afghanistan.
Also, as the President of the Chamber of Commerce of turkiye, he assured the investors of his country through the media, that the best work opportunities in Afghanistan are currently provided in an environment of peace and harmony, and The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan fulfills its commitments to pay the financial rights of investors in a timely and efficient manner.
It is worth noting that according to the agreement, the Ministry of Energy and Water and the technical officials of 77 Turkish construction company will start their joint cooperation for the purpose of carrying out the necessary studies and researches for the implementation of the 200 megawatt electricity generation project from wind sources in Herat province.
