A project to build a gabion wall in Baghlan Province was inaugurated at a cost of 134,000 US dollars.
The implementation of a gabion wall construction project in Turkano village, Khanjan district, Baghlan province, worth one hundred and thirty-four thousand (134,000) US dollars, started in the presence of the governor of Baghlan Province mawlawi Abdurrahman Haqani, Head of Baghlan sub river basin Mawlawi Muhibullah Adel and some other local officials.
It is worth noting that this project with a length of 1530 meters and a width of 4 meters is being carried out with the financial support of FAO, which has provided employment to many citizens and about 120 acres of agricultural land will be protected from the risk of floods.
