The project of gabion protection of the banks of the Panj River in Yatim Tapa village of Yange Qala district of Takhar province is worth nineteen million one hundred two thousand seven hundred and seventy nine 19102797 afghans. It was opened in the presence of engineer Abdulwahid Rajab, engineers of the Ministry of Energy and Water and many tribal leaders.
This project is carried out for the purpose of protection and maintenance of Yatim Tapa general canal, which has the capacity to irrigate 15000 acres of agricultural land in Yange Qala and Khawaja Bahauddin districts of Takhar province.
It is worth noting that this project is being funded by the Ministry of Energy and Water and is being carried out by the Helmand Jahani Barak Construction Company for a period of five months, which will provide employment to many citizens.
