The construction of a canal in Khost province worth more than 190 thousand US dollars has been completed and was put to benefit.

Construction of a canal in Baak district of Khost province at a cost of ninety thousand and five hundred and sixty two (190562) US dollars, in the presence of Rahman Jalali, Baak district governor, officials of liaison office and a number of scholars and ethnic elders was handed over to benefit.
This canal has a length of 1700 meters and has the capacity to irrigate 2268 acres of agricultural land and is also considered useful in terms of water management and regulation.
The works of the mentioned canal were carried out with the financial support of the development agency of Switzerland with the technical cooperation of the Shamal Khoram river basin, which provided employment to many people.
