The construction of a small power dam has started in Kunar Province

 Construction of a small power dam in Shamkar Village, Khas Kunar District, Kunar Province, worth eight hundred nine thousand and nine hundred and fifteen Afghanis (809,915) started in the presence of the Head of Engineering Services (WAPICA) of the Ministry of Energy and Water, Honorable Engineer Ijaz ul Haq Danishyar, a number of local officials and ethnic elders.
 This dam will have the capacity to produce 15 kilowatts of electricity and its works will be completed within two months.
 It is worth mentioning that the mentioned dam is being built with the financial support of "Afghanistan Power Dam People's Campaign".
