The head of Arghandab sub river basin met with ethnic elders of seven districts of Kandahar province

 Chairman of Arghandab sub river basin, Mr. Mullah Said Muhammad Sharafat, met with ethnic elders and Mira’abans of seven districts of Kandahar province and discussed and exchanged ideas about the good management of Dehla Dam water, fair distribution, effective utilization of it and releasing water from Delhi Dam for irrigating agricultural lands in the mentioned districts.

 Also, these ethnic elders and Mira’abs  shared their problems related to the lack of water from Dehla Dam to these districts with Mr. Sharafat.

 In this meeting, Mr. Sharafat assured the elders and the Mira’abs about the fair distribution of the water of Delhi Dam and the necessary decisions were taken regarding the release of the water of the mentioned dam.
