The Ministry of Energy and Water has signed a cooperation agreement

The Ministry of Energy and Water has signed a cooperation agreement with two cooperative organizations in the water sector. Mujibur Rahman Umar Akhundzada, Deputy Minister of Water at the Ministry of Energy and Water, signed two cooperation agreements with the officials of Shpol and Afghanistan's Foundation for the Blind for the purpose of implementing projects in the water sector.
During the signing of these agreements, Deputy Minister Akhundzada stated that the Ministry of Energy and Water welcomes any organization willing to cooperate in the water sector and provide real services to the people of Afghanistan.
It's worth noting that these agreements were signed to facilitate joint cooperation in the implementation of irrigation projects funded by the World Food Organization and executed in the region by Shpol and Afghanistan's Foundation for the Blind organizations.
The implementation of these agreements includes the construction and reconstruction of canals, weirs, and other water infrastructure in Kunar and Laghman provinces. These projects will be carried out by the aforementioned organizations in coordination with the Ministry of Energy and Water.
