Notification for intention to contract award

The Ministry of energy and water of Afghanistan (MEW) is supposed to award the contract: Rehabilitation of Lower Kokcha Irrigation-Zone II: Archi  Jaded Canal( AJC), LKIP/AJC 20+450 to 46+000km canal Lining and Civil works( Package 6),under the contract No, NPA/MEW/97/W-2341/ICB with Afghan Sadaqat Construction & Road Making Company, having licenses in order No. D-04-20385 located in order, adjacent Kabul Avista Hospital, Near Traffic Square, Kalola Pushta, Kabul, Afghanistan; in the amount of USD 9,597,951(Nine Million Five Hundred Ninety- Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty One ) inclusive of 10% Contingency amounting to USD 763,535.61 and provisional sum amounting to USD 175,000.00

Bidders who appeal reconsideration or have any objection, they can submit their application within 7 days to the Ministry of Energy and Water from the date of announcement.

This notification does not constitute award of contract. The contract shall not be awarded until the notice provided elapsed and complaints, if any received, is addressed in compliance with appeal and review manual.
