Alhaji Mulla Abdul Latif "Mansoor", the Acting Minister of Energy and Water of the islamic emirate of Afghanistan, arrived in Herat province on Friday as part of his provincial tours.  He performed the first Friday prayer together with a large number of compatriots.

After performing the prayer, he met and talked with the resident people in the open space.

Later, the minister, while the chief of Staff of the ministry, Qari Muhammad Abdul Aziz "Aziz" and the general director of Harirod Marghab river basin, Maulawi Syed Abdul Salam Agha were also present, met with the governor of Herat, Maulawi Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, during the meeting, the two sides had a detailed discussion and exchange of ideas about water management and energy production in Herat province, The Minister assured the Honorable Governor of Herat and the Chief of River basin that Measures will be taken to solve their problems within the framework of balanced development and available possibilities.
