With the construction of sar shahr canal in baharak district of badkhshan province, more then 1700 hectares of agricultural land will be irrigated.

Sar shahr canal construction project in order to better manage water, increase agricultural land and make employment opportunities to people .
This project is implementing bye nwara with the financially support of Asian development bank and European Union in baharak district of badkhshan.
The practical work of the project has been going well in the area and has progressed by 12% so far
The length of the Canal is 15km which irrigated around 1700 hectares of agricultural land.
