The water of Qargha dam was released for the benefit of the rights holders of the mentioned dam

 The Chairman of the Middle Kabul sub river basin, Maulawi Wali Muhammad Taib, along with some technical officials of the said river basin, released the water of Qargha dam for the benefit of the rights holders of this dam.

 During the release of the water of Qargha dam, the chairman of the middle sub river basin of Kabul, Maulawi Wali Muhammad Taib, expressed his happiness because of the increase in the water of this dam and its release to solve the problems of lack of water in the irrigated areas and called it useful and valuable for aeration and strengthening of underground water.

 At the same time, General Field Manager of Paghman District, Engineer Mohammad Ismail presented the necessary information about the irrigated areas under Qargha Dam and it’s rights holders

 It should be noted that since last year, the Ministry of Energy and Water, in cooperation with some international organizations, has implemented several projects for rehabilitation, cleaning, conservation and maintenance in the area of ​​Qargha Dam and its upper part and this project has had a significant impact on the increase of water in Qargha Dam.
