Notification for intention to contract award The Ministry of energy and water of Afghanistan (MEW) is supposed to award the contract: Water Resources Development Investment Program _ Project 2, Rehabilitation of Lower Kokcha Irrigation – Zone II: Archi Jadid Canal (AJC), LKIP/AJC 46+000 Km to 70+370 Km Canal Civil Works, under contract No.NPA/MEW/98/W-2510/ICB,(Package-07) with Venco Imtiaz Construction Company & New United Construction Company- JV, having licenses in order No. D-10192 located in order House No.55, 3rd street,15th road, Wazir Akbar Khan, Kabul and D-3153,Room1, 4th floor, Fyez Ahmad Plaza, 1st district of Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan; in the amount of USD 8,536,250.57(Eight Million Five Hundred Thirty Six Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars and Fifty Seven Cents) inclusive of 10% Contingency amounting to USD 571,359.87 and provisional sum amounting to USD 125,000.00 USD Bidders who appeal reconsideration or have any objection, they can submit their application within 7 days to the Ministry of Energy and Water from the date of announcement. This notification does not constitute award of contract. The contract shall not be awarded until the notice provided elapsed and complaints, if any received, is addressed in compliance with appeal and review manual.
